The beaches of Ferreries

The beach of Cala Galdana constitutes one of the most important tourist centers on the island. It has been awarded the "Blue Flag" distinction by the European Community. Added to its natural beauty is a surrounding landscape that attracts hikers to discover the areas that surround it. Around the beach, a residential development has been built that offers visitors the necessary services for vacations and free time. A short distance from this tourist center is Cala Mitjana, a still-virgin beach with the characteristics typical of the southern coast area: blue waters, fine sand, and lush vegetation. The beach of "Ets Alocs", on the other hand, gathers the characteristics typical of the northern coast: rugged terrain and sparse vegetation.
