The island of Menorca has an infinity of archaeological remains, distributed throughout the entire insular geography; all zones and municipalities have a good number of sanctuaries perfectly prepared to receive visitors who wish to admire the extraordinary cyclopean constructions of the ancient inhabitants of the island of Menorca.

It is for this reason that saying that the whole island of Menorca is a great open-air museum is not an exaggeration at all; everyone who dedicates themselves to visiting these extraordinary constructions, whether tourists, archaeology enthusiasts, or scientists and scholars, will have the feeling that they have made a trip to antiquity, that they have gone back some three thousand (3,000) years, and given how extraordinarily well-preserved the megalithic constructions are, and seeing that from one archaeological site to another there are only a few minutes of travel, their astonishment will not cease, and they will end up admitting that yes, the entire island of Menorca is a great open-air museum.
